Royal visits at sporting events in Denmark

His Royal Highness Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark who is also an IOC member pays visits to two of the major international sporting events in Denmark. Yesterday he played a Pro Am at the European Tour Golf Tournament – Made in Denmark and to day before he visited the Danish badminton players preparing for the Li-Ning BWF World Badminton Championships in Copenhagen.

His Royal Highness Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark supports Danish athletes, Danish sport and sporting events in Denmark. The Crown Prince is patron of the Li-Ning BWF World Badminton Championships and the European Tour in golf, Made in Denmark.

His Royal Highness is also IOC member and a keen sportsman.

As paton his Royal Highness thus visited the Danish badminton players preparing for world championships on home ground in Copenhagen and then rushed to the very north of Jutland to play a Pro Am at the European Tour in golf together with Danish golfer Thomas Bjørn and Danish racing driver Tom Kristensen.

Denmark is always looking for new ways of doing things, and with a long experience in successfully hosting a wide range of championships and congresses the Danish focus on making a positive impact on the event and for the event rights holder.
