Experience World Class Dancing

1000 dancers from more than 30 nations and almost 2000 spectators will come together at the European Championships in standard dances and Copenhagen Open, which this year is staged at the Tivoli Hotel and Congress Centre.

From 13-15th of February, the Copenhagen Open will be held for the 37th consecutive time. This year at the Tivoli Hotel and Congress Center. The Tournament is an international Sport dance tournament (WDSF World Open), which is among the largest in Northern Europe.

Together with Copenhagen Open the European Championship in Standard Dance for professionals will be staged. Several international participants will join us and the level of dancing will reach fantastic heights on the floor. Dancers from the World elite will participate and Tania Kehlet and Emmanuel Valeri, who are first in line for the gold medal, will represent Denmark during the competition.

The Dance Sport Association expects up to 2000 happy spectators will cheer and whoop for their favorites and the mood in the hall is going to reach the boiling point. True to the tradition a number of participants from this year Danish version of Strictly Come Dancing will be looking over the floor at the finals on Saturday evening. The judges from the TV show will also be invited for the competition.

Copenhagen Open will be covered by TV channel DK4 and sent live with approximately 2 hours from the semifinals and finals of the European Championship in standard of Professionals and the World Open in Latin on Saturday night.
